Manipulation is a technique that is small movement at the end of rangeof movement of the spine, rib or sacro-illiacjoint used to provide a stretch to elp restore normalmovement, and is characterised by the joint ‘clicking’ it can also be called an adjustment.
Manipulation provides a localised stretch to a region of the spine to help restore movement.
Our physiotherapists will carefully examine you and discuss the procedure with you if they consider this treatment is the best way to treat your injury.

Dry Needling

Dry needling may be offered to you by our professional physiotherapists as an effective adjunctive treatment. It involves in very thin needle being pushed through the skin to stimulate a trigger point.
Dry needling aims to release tight muscle bands associated with trigger points and lead to decreased pain and improved function. When it is combined with physiotherapy treatment, it has shown to help following conditions;
